HELP/INFORMATION: Can anyone help please. I am a total novice to Lathe
work (but a former car mechanic) and have just bought an old Myford Super 7 to
learn on. It has a badly slipping clutch, it is what I understand to be the
early type with a cone clutch inside the upper V belt pully's, the pushrod
moves in and out freely and it gives off no noises etc. just does not drive.

electronic method of gearing between two rotating shafts, with suitable gear
ratios for screwcutting and turning in a lathe, ie an 'electronic gearbox'.
