TRACTION ENGINES

1.5in scale 'Allchin' traction engine. Commenced building 1991, to be completed this year (75k)

1.5in scale 'Allchin' to Bill Hughes design. A replica of the one built for the royal show of 1925. Built over 10 yrs. (71k)
1.5in scale model of Allchin No.3251 built by William Allchin in 1925. Completed and steamed in 1979, now kept for display only. (84k)
4" scale 'Burrel' 6 NHP GP Road Loco. (80k)

3in scale Atkinson standard undertype steam wagon. 1.75" bore x 2.5" stroke twin cylinder double acting. Twin camshafts operate ball valves. Chain driven. (72k)

LOCOMOTIVES
Didcot: 5" gauge GWR 14XX to Neville Evans design. It took 15 months to build. Drawings and castings from Reeves. (83k)
5" gauge 0-6-0 G.W. 'Simplex'. A modified design by Martin Evans. Steamed regularly for the last 10 years. A reliable workhorse. (79k)

5" gauge 0-4-2 'Lion' modified LBSC design. Built over a period of 3 years and finished in 1986. Steamed for 3 years and OLCO shield in 1989 (most efficient Lion). (86k)
5" gauge GWR 'King' loco No. 6000 designed by James Perrier. Inside Walschaerts valve gear, piston valves fitted with C.I. rings. Built 1986-1990. (62k)
5" gauge 0-4-2 'Sweet Pea' and tender (forground) and large 'Tich' (background). (81k)
5" gauge 2-6-2 freelance tank loco. The model is designed to run for a minimum of 3 hrs pulling 3 coaches with 8-10 passengers. (right) 5" gauge 'Speedy' designed by LBSC. (84k)
5" gauge class 2 'Mogul' 2-6-0 based on a design by Don Young. The model is finished and it steams. (70k)
5" gauge rebuilt Royal Scot. Generally to Martin Evans design but with modifications by the builder. (76k)

5" gauge 'Jinty' 0-6-0 tank loco designed by Martin Evans. The model is based on an LMS class 3F and is incomplete. (69k)
3.5" gauge 'Britannia' class pacific with BR-1D tender. Tender complete and loco ready for strip down for painting. Boiler has a combustion chamber. (72k)

99: 6 cylinder V uniflow engine, 100: single cylinder vertical 1.25" x 1.25" bore & stroke, 101: Twin cylinder vertical, 114: Beam engine, the original is in the museum at Glasgow. (k)
104: 2 cylinder launch engine, Stephenson's link motion and 3/4" bore, 116: Robinson hot air engine type B4. (96k)

HOROLOGICAL ITEMS
Clock driven orrery displays rotation of the Earth, Moon & 5 planets all at the correct speeds. Clock has a special jeweled lever escapement. Own design (68k)
8 day scroll clock - skeleton - John Haining's design modified. (81k)
8 day table clock with Earth/Moon display in the sphere. Side dials for sunrise/sunset are included together with a perpetual callendar. (64k)
MARINE STEAM
Steam launch powered by butane and radio controlled. It is clinker built. (57k)
Victorian steam launch built of Mahogany and Lime on a glass fibre hull.. (43k)
